National Disability Insurance Scheme

Your choice, Your control

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of funding supports for people with disability, their families and carers. Your NDIS plan will change your life for the better. It will empower you to make important decisions about how you live, and give you greater control of your finances.

Do I qualify?

If you answer yes to all the questions on the NDIS Access Checklist you could be eligible for assistance under the NDIS.

What does person-centred mean?

Person-centred means that YOU are at the centre of decision making.  The focus is on YOU, and a plan is developed specifically for YOU.

At EET the staff listen to what’s important to YOU, and then look for new and fresh solutions to help you achieve YOUR goals. EET will always respect YOUR choices and will stand beside you every step of the way if YOU want them to.

How will EET help me to achieve my goals?

They are experts at finding innovative and creative solutions to your wants and needs.  When you ask for a particular activity or support person, EET will do it’s best to accomodate you, or alternatively, find a service that can.

What sorts of supports can EET provide?

EET can assist you to become involved in community and social activities,  coordinate your NDIS plan, develop your life skills, develop your employability, pursue your hobbies and interests, travel independently, and manage your life stage transitions. EET also provides day-to-day living activities, travel and transport, household tasks, and weekend and out-of-hours supports.
